Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

One Account Per User

Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in termination of all accounts associated with you.

Free Plan

J5Jobs offers a free tier with limited features, including basic job search, 3 AI resume optimizations per month, and limited application tracking.

Pro Plan

The Pro subscription ($29/month) provides unlimited AI resume optimizations, advanced job matching, unlimited application tracking, AI career coaching, and priority support.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Payment is processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor
• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by law.

J5Jobs Property

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, software, and the compilation thereof), is owned by J5Jobs or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Limited License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. This license does not include the right to modify, copy, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service.

Trademarks

"J5Jobs," our logo, and other marks are trademarks of J5Jobs, Inc. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including resumes, cover letters, profile information, and other materials ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant J5Jobs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, store, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your User Content. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful, offensive, or otherwise objectionable.

AI-Powered Features

J5Jobs uses artificial intelligence services from OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), and HuggingFace to provide resume optimization, career coaching, cover letter generation, and job matching features.

AI Limitations

You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and should be reviewed before use
• AI recommendations are not guaranteed to result in job offers or interviews
• AI services may occasionally produce inaccurate or inappropriate content
• You are responsible for verifying the accuracy of AI-generated content
• AI features may be temporarily unavailable due to third-party service issues

Data Processing

Your resume content and career coaching conversations are processed by third-party AI providers to deliver our services. By using AI features, you consent to this processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in your settings or by contacting our support team. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Reasons for termination may include:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Non-payment of subscription fees
• Extended periods of inactivity
• Request by law enforcement or government agencies

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your license to use the Service terminates immediately. We may delete your account and User Content in accordance with our data retention policies. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification.

Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@j5jobs.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 60 days.

Binding Arbitration

If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Commercial Arbitration Rules.

Class Action Waiver

YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in class actions against J5Jobs.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and J5Jobs regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, or internet service provider failures.
